The above individual authorizes Wee Heart Autobody, LLC. (WHAB) to repair the aforementioned vehicle. WHAB is authorized to act as the above individual's agent for the purpose of negotiating the costs of repairs, including the damage discovered after the initial appraisal, with the insurer. WHAB can allocate any and all payment to facilitate the successful and proper repair of the vehicle listed above.
The above individual authorizes WHAB to operate their vehicle for the purposes of testing and diagnostics, delivery of the vehicle to the customer, and general purposes on the property of WHAB.
WHAB will not be liable for loss or damage to the vehicle, or items lost/stolen beyond circumstances that are generally reasonable or beyond our control.
The above individual recognizes that WHAB cannot reasonably be expected to release a vehicle with an outstanding balance unless the insurer has issued a written or electronic promissory document agreeing to pay the remainder of said balance. The above individual authorizes WHAB to endorse checks on their behalf for the purpose of compensation to repair the vehicle listed here-in (Limited POA).
The above individual authorizes the above listed insurance company to pay Wee Heart Autobody, LLC. directly when permissible.
Tesla Parts Acknowledgment
As a Tesla-Approved Collision Center, Wee Heart Autobody, LLC. (WHAB) is required under its certification with Tesla, Inc. to use only new Tesla Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts in the repair of Tesla vehicles. WHAB cannot and will not install aftermarket, imitation, reconditioned, or salvaged parts on any Tesla vehicle under any circumstances, regardless of insurer instruction or estimate language. The above individual acknowledges that some insurance policies limit coverage to aftermarket or non-OEM parts. If the above individual’s insurer declines to pay for Tesla OEM parts, or issues payment based on aftermarket part pricing, the above individual is responsible for the difference in cost between the parts the insurer has agreed to pay for and the Tesla OEM parts required to complete the repair. This difference is due prior to release of the vehicle unless other arrangements are made in writing. The above individual is encouraged to review their policy’s parts language and to request OEM parts coverage from their insurer where available. WHAB will assist in documenting the certification requirement to the insurer upon request, but the insurer’s payment decision is between the policyholder and the insurer.
